Louisiana’s spring exhibition adds new aspects to our insight into the perhaps greatest 20th-century artist and to what drove him personally. In the eight thematic sections of the exhibition, a selection of works dating from 1944 to his death in 1973 draw a rich and varied picture of the socially conscious, politically committed and peace-loving Picasso.
